World of Owls
About
World of Owls is a unique family attraction set within the beautiful surroundings of Randalstown Forest. Home to one of the largest collections of owls in the UK, this registered wildlife charity offers visitors the chance to discover an incredible variety of owls and birds of prey while learning about the importance of wildlife conservation.
As you explore the centre, you'll encounter owls from around the world alongside eagles, hawks, falcons, vultures and a variety of small animals. The popular Crawlies Cavern is home to fascinating reptiles, including snakes, lizards and spiders, providing an exciting experience for visitors of all ages.
Throughout your visit, knowledgeable volunteers are on hand to share interesting facts about the animals and the charity's conservation and rescue work. Visitors can also enjoy guided talks and, subject to availability, private guided experiences that offer an even closer look at these remarkable birds.
There's plenty to enjoy beyond the animal exhibits too. Families can explore the forest surroundings, spot local wildlife, relax in the picnic areas or let the children burn off some energy in Robin Hood's Hide Out play area. The on-site café serves hot drinks, snacks and light refreshments, making it easy to spend a full day discovering everything World of Owls has to offer.
Whether you're passionate about wildlife or simply looking for a fun and educational family day out, World of Owls offers a memorable experience that combines nature, conservation and adventure in one beautiful setting.
