Tayto Castle Factory Tours

Discover the magic behind one of Northern Ireland's most iconic brands with a fascinating visit to the Tayto Factory. A favourite with generations of families, this behind-the-scenes tour offers a unique opportunity to see exactly how the famous Tayto crisps and snacks are made.

Join an experienced tour guide as you walk through the fully operational factory, following the journey of locally grown potatoes from preparation and flavouring right through to the finished packet. You may even get the chance to meet the famous Mr Tayto during your visit!

The guided tour lasts approximately 90 minutes and offers a fun and educational experience for both children and adults. Please note that children must be aged 5 or over to take part, and anyone aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult. Visitors are required to wear clothing that fully covers their arms and legs, along with suitable closed-toe footwear. Protective clothing will be provided before entering the factory.
